The Initial Value may be set to a specific number or state. This value is used when the controller starts from power up or the Schema is instructed to reset on download.
Browse Access describes the usage of each variable within an HMI.
Update to Flash specifies whether the variable value should be saved in FLASH. If the update is set for 'On Command' then the variable is written to FLASH when the Flash Write operator commands. If the update is set for 'On Command and Power Loss' then the variable is written to FLASH when either power is lost or commanded by the Flash Write operator.
Merge Behavior describes how the variable is to be treated when a schema is downloaded using the continue schemas (merge mode) option.
The Schema Viewer Users column indicates the Security Role (see the section on Security for more information) that has the right to change the initial value of the variable in Schema Viewer. If a Security User is logged in to Schema Viewer (or there is no one logged in) who does not have this Role then they will not be able to set the initial value. If the User logged in to Schema Viewer is a member of this Role, then they can change the initial value and save the schema with the new initial value setting.
Scope Note comments for the variable are displayed when hovering over that particular variable and in this table.
Labels for Boolean variables' values are displayed in the schema during simulations. These labels may be made more meaningful in the Low and High Label cells.
