IP configuration for all devices on a physical network is done in the Configure Network dialog. To access the dialog, select the Network View from the Workspace window. Right click on the physical network and select properties. The IP Settings tab shows each Ethernet device in the workspace.

The Interface column names the device and network layer described.

Use DHCP requests automatic IP Address assignment when checked.

IP is the IP address you assign when DHCP is not used.

Obtain DNS automatically requests that a Domain Name Server address be allocated automatically to this interface.

Preferred DNS specifies the first DNS used when the automatic setting is unchecked.

Alternate DNS specifies the DNS used when the primary DNS in unavailable.

Syslog Server specifies the IP address of a destination server to receive syslog messages from the module.
