Figure 14.3 Design Pad G4 Preferences Schema Editing Tab

Schema editing is sometimes easier with a grid in the background. It can be displayed by default.

The circles defining connection points on operators and for wire connections (signals) are called hot spots. These options determine whether the circles are displayed on a schema's wiring diagram.

Neatness usually makes the design easier to read when wiring in a schema. Perpendicular wiring can be the default wiring method.

The Snap to Grid option makes operators and wiring locate themselves along the grid, whether visible or not, when this option is on.

Selected objects don't move when dragged until their location is changed by at least this specification's number of pixels.
