Chameleon Backplane Termination
Fairmount Automation Chameleon modules communicate using a serial backplane channel within the node.
It is required that the backplane be terminated for all node configurations using the following guidelines:
- Nodes consisting of 2 to 3 modules should have 1 terminator installed at either end of the node
- Nodes consisting of 4 and above modules should have two terminators installed, one terminator at each end of the node
The backplane terminator, part number 01020-150 is shown below.
