Security Rights

The basic control point in the security method is a right. Each right grants access to a specific action in a programmed module or a communications function between entities in the system. Permission to view and/or edit the Username, Password, Roles, and Rights configuration screens is one example of a specific action. Permission to communicate using the IR interface is a communications function example. Each right is described later in the section.
